He obtained a Law degree at the Universtity of Deusto and a Masters degree (LL M) in EU Law at the College of Europe, in Bruges, Belgium. He has practised as a lawyer in English and Spanish top law firms and in the European Commission. Before establishing his own law firm he spent several years working as an associate lawyer at Uria Menendez, the Spanish leading law firm. He is a member of the European Food Law Association, and of the Asociación Iberoamericana de Derecho Alimentario and is a regular speaker in Spanish and EU food law conferences all around Europe.
